Mongrel Media has acquiredall Canadian rights to Nathaniel Kahn's feature length documentary MyArchitect which is the story of theillegitimate son of famed architect Louis I Kahn as he searches the world foranswers to his father's mysterious life.

Kahn, who died bankrupt andalone in Pennsylvania Station in 1974, is considered by many one of the mostimportant architects of the 20th century. The documentary featuresFrank Gehry, IM Pei and Philip Johnson talking about his artistic legacy.

New Yorker Films has USrights in association with HBO Documentary Films, and it will be released inNew York City on Nov 12.

Andrew Herwitz of the FilmSales Company brokered the deal. The law offices of Roz Lichter represented thefilmmakers.
