Thailand 's Mono Films has pre-sold The Follower to Indonesia's Ram Indo for Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei.

The film is a horror thriller about a student being haunted by a mysterious man after his girlfriend died in a caraccident when he takes her out on a used car.

With production set to start this June, casting is currently underway. A December release is expected. Pleo Sirisuwan (Vengeance) is directing.

The company also has a string of romantic dramas on its slate for this year.

Ghost comedy I.C.U. Ghost of Fine Arts is due to open in April; Miss You, Two, about three young hearts will open in June; both Happy Birthday, a romantic drama directed by Me Myself director Pongpat Wachirabunjong and comedy Aramboy about Buddhism are in production.
