London-based sales outfit Moviehouse Entertainment has picked up Adam Goldberg's debut feature I Love Your Work which was one of the last films to be backed by Fireworks Pictures.

Moviehouse, which was founded two years ago by Mark Vennis and Gary Phillips, will now also handle 13 titles from the back catalogue of Fireworks, which quit the film business earlier this year.

I Love Your Work, which premiered in Toronto's Discovery section, is a drama examining the ups and downs of stardom. It stars Giovanni Ribisi, Franke Potente and Christina Ricci with smaller roles for an ensemble cast including Elvis Costello, Vince Vaughn and Jared Harris.

'We believe it fits right in with the style of films this young sales company is working on,' said Adam Haight, Fireworks COO.

Moviehouse recently added Bernard Rose's ivans xtc to a high quality slate which also includes real life kidnap drama Blind Flight, also making its market premiere, and Samuel L Jackson-starring Australian comedy The Illustrated Family Doctor , currently in post-production.

Following the return to its roots in TV, CanWest-backed Fireworks ceased handling sales on its outstanding features slate. Those now handled by Moviehouse include The Believer (starring Ryan Gosling, Summer Phoenix), Hardball (Keanu Reeves, Diane Lane), Onegin (Ralph Fiennes, Toby Stephens, Liv Tyler) and Rat Race (John Cleese, Rowan Atkinson and Whoopi Goldberg).
