Warner Bros is singing a sweet song as Music And Lyrics climbs up to the top spot internationally, after five weeks in the chart. The romantic comedy took $9.6m at the weekend after opening in an additional eight territories, including Germany, Mexico and Netherlands. Eddie Murphy comedy Norbit also saw a boost as it expanded in 11 territories across an additional 1,330 screens, generating $9.2m at the weekend - up 378% from last weekend. Italian audiences continued to favour local comedies as Ho Voglia Di Te took $9.1m in its opening weekend. And 300 - an adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel - came in at number five after grossing $6.1m in its first weekend. Saw III was boosted by 607% and re-entered the chart after taking $2.2m at the weekend from seven territories, while The Painted Veil also resurfaced, grossing $1.5m - a massive 857% boost for the film.
