She will star alongside Dakota Fanning and Helen Hunt in Ben Lewin’s road trip movie which is being sold by Embankment Films.

Alice Eve has joined the cast of Please Stand By, written by Michael Golamco, to be directed by Ben Lewin.

Eve will play the sister of a brilliant young woman with autism (Dakota Fanning) who escapes her care home to deliver her script to a Hollywood compeition.

Helen Hunt also stars as the no nonsense carer in the film, which is being produced by Daniel Dubiecki and Lara Alameddine of new LA based outfit The Allegiance Theater.

Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban’s 2929 Productions are financing.  Embankment Films are handling international sales at Cannes.
