‘Marriage Story’

The Austin Film Festival & Writers Conference (AFF) has unveiled a slate including the world premiere of Lawrence and Meg Kasdan’s Last Week at Ed’s as well as more than 20 other world, North American and US premieres. 

Running from October 24 to 31 in the Texas city of Austin, the festival will also host the world premiere of Pilgrim, an upcoming fearture-length episode of Hulu and Blumhouse Television’s Into The Dark anthology series.  

Other features screening include Honey Boy, written by and starring Shia LaBeouf, Edward Norton’s detective drama Motherless Brooklyn, Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story and The Two Popes, from Fernando Meirelles. 

Speakers set for the festival’s Writers Conference include Megan Amram, Ron Bass, David Benioff, Rachel Bloom, Aline Brosh McKenna, Sarah Green, James Ivory, Nicole Perlman, Daniel Petrie Jr and Ed Solomon. 

Comedienne, producer, writer and director Catherine Reitman will get the festival’s inaugural New Voice Award.
