Stand-up comedian and writer Phil Wang will host The Big Screen Awards ceremony, which takes place November 24 at The Brewery in London.
Wang released his own Netflix special, Philly Philly Wang Wang, in 2021 and has appeared on Taskmaster, Would I Lie To You?, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Netflix’s The Comedy Lineup and Have I Got News For You?.
The comedian has also published two books and had a supporting role in Amy Schumer’s Life & Beth.
Nominations for The Big Screen Awards were announced last month and featured multiple nominations for Disney, Curzon, Picturehouse, Mubi and Vertigo Releasing as well as films Boiling Point, After Love and Ali & Ava.
The Screen Awards was last held in 2019 before being relaunched as The Big Screen Awards this year. Now in their 13th year, the awards were established by Screen International in 2010 to honour the achievements of people and companies in connecting theatrical film releases to the UK’s moviegoing audiences.
