Organisers are calling for eligible institutional films, advertising campaigns and television documentaries to enter the second annual Deauville Green Awards.
The awards, set for April 16-18 in Deauville, outside Paris, celebrate eco-friendly and sustainable productions.
Next year’s festival will include 12 categories including Climate Change and Society, Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technologies, Transportation and Eco-Mobility and Health and Lifestyles.
The first Deauville Green Awards saw about 170 films from 14 countries compete.
Light Close to Everyone, a German film produced by LavaFilm, won the prize for best audio-visual environmental corporate policy.
Belgian film Pour Une Région En Mouvement, produced by DoubleDouble, won for best audio-visual environmental institutional policy.
