The Golden Globes

The timeline for the 83rd annual Golden Globes has been released by awards owner and producer Dick Clark Productions, with the deadline for film and TV submissions set at October 31. 

Also announced were awards rules and campaign guidelines for the Globes. 

As previously announced, the 83rd Golden Globes ceremony will take place on January 11, 2026 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, with comedian and actress Nikki Glaser hosting. The ceremony will be aired by CBS and streamed on Paramount+ in the US. 

Key dates in the 2026 Globes timeline are as follows: 

August 1, 2025: Submission website opens for motion picture and television entries. 

October 1, 2025: Submission website opens for podcast entries. 

October 31, 2025: Deadline for motion picture, television and podcast submissions. 

November 17, 2025: Deadline for television and podcast nomination ballots to be sent to voters. 

November 23, 2025: Final date for television and podcast press conferences and for television and podcast programmes to be uploaded to the Golden Globes screening platform. 

November 24, 2025, 5pm PST: Deadline for receipt of television and podcast nomination ballots. 

November 25, 2025: Deadline for motion picture and cinematic and box office achievement nomination ballots to be sent to voters. 

December 3, 2025: Final date for motion picture and box office achievement press conferences and for motion pictures and cinematic and box office achievement submissions to be uploaded to the Golden Globes screening platform. 

December 4, 2025, 5pm PST: Deadline for the receipt of motion picture and cinematic and box office achievement nomination ballots. 

December 8, 2025, 5pm PST: Announcement of nominations. 

December 19, 2025: Final ballots sent to voters. 

January 3, 2026, 5pm PST: Deadline for the receipt of final ballots.
