Indomina Releasing has acquired US rights to Hong Kong action thriller Fire Of Conscience after the film’s screenings at this week’s Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas.

Starring Leon Lai (Bodyguards and Assassins) and Richie Ren (Exiled), the film (pictured) was written and directed by Dante Lam and produced by Lam and Candy Leung.

The deal was negotiated by Indomina’s vice president of acquisitions Rob Williams and head of business and legal affairs Toby Midgen with Media Asia Films’ assistant general manager Fred Tsui.

“We are very much impressed by the enthusiasm and expertise of Indomina,” said Tsui. “We are convinced that this young company will reinvigorate and breathe new life to the distribution of Asian films in North America.”

Indomina Releasing was launched in 2008 by artist/executive Jasbinder Singh Mann and Dominican Republic asset manager Vicini.
