Paramount Pictures has unveiled the first details about this summer’s fifth outing for Ethan Hunt.

 

Mission: Impossible 5 has officially been titled as Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.

Directed by Jack Reacher’s Christopher McQuarrie, the fifth outing for Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt reunites him with Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner and Ving Rhames, alongside new cast members Rebecca Ferguson and Alec Baldwin.

Rogue Nation will see Hunt and his team take on the Syndicated, an international rogue organisation that are as highly skilled as IMF and are committed to destroying it.

Paramount Pictures will release Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation on July 31.

The first full trailer will be released tomorrow, and the first TV spot can be viewed below.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol became the most successful film of the series in 2011 after grossing $694.7m worldwide.
