Series runs Aug 16-25 and features six classic films, including This Is Spinal Tap and The Red Shoes.

As part of National Theatre Inside Out, American Express are presenting a series of six films as part of their Films on the Flytower programme.

The series will see the films presented onto the National Theatre’s Flytower, transforming it into an outdoor cinema. All screenings are free, with limited deckchair seating on the Baylis Terrace on Level 2, while American Express cardholders can benefit from a dedicated seating area with wireless headphones and popcorn.

This Is Spinal Tap opens Films on the Flytower on Aug 16, with The Producers (17), Bullets Over Broadway (18), The Circus (23) and The Red Shoes (24) all screening before the series comes to an end with Theatre Of Blood on Aug 25. All films revolve around life behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.
