Noah Baumbach

Noah Baumbach will be get the Gotham Director Tribute for his career and his work on Jay Kelly at this year’s Gotham Film Awards, set for December 1 in New York City. 

Starring George Clooney and Adam Sandler, Jay Kelly, which Baumbach directed and wrote with Emily Mortimer, is released in selected US cinemas on November 14 and arrives on Netflix on December 5. 

Baumbach previously won the best feature, best screenplay and audience Gotham Awards for Marriage Story

Previously announced 2025 Gotham awards include the Spotlight Tribute to Tessa Thompson for Hedda, the Gotham Vanguard Tribute for Frankenstein and the Ensemble Tribute for the cast of Sinners.
