Radial take US rights to Myriad’s horror tale ‘The Pond’

Newly formed Radial Entertainment has acquired exclusive US distribution rights to horror feature The Pond from Myriad Pictures. 

The deal covers US theatrical, home entertainment and ancillary rights for cross-platform releases. 

Directed by Jeff Renfroe from a screenplay by himself and Ben Brooks, The Pond stars Isabelle Fuhrman, Douglas Smith and Gil Bellows. It tells the story of a group of life-long friends who travel to a remote lake house to celebrate their terminally ill friend but are horrified when they discover she has become a vessel for a predatory parasite. 

The film is a Myriad Pictures and Photon Films presentation of a Fella Films Production in association with Myriad Pictures and BondIt Media Capital. Thomas Michael is the producer and executive producers include Kirk D’Amico, Renfroe, Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, Mark Slone, Grady Craig, Jennifer Pun, Rosalie Chilelli, Mic Forsey, Joe Serafini, Hayden Baptiste, Daniel Shojaei and Michael Mullen.  

Radial Entertainment senior director of acquisitions and originals Gus Krieger commented: “Reading the screenplay for The Pond, I knew we’d come across something special.
