The producers behind Cannes 2025 jury prize winner Sirât and Cannes 2026 selections Everytime and Death Has No Master are among those selected for the European Film Promotion’s (EFP) Producers On The Move programme, which showcases rising talent and fosters international co-productions.

Twenty European producers have been selected for the annual networking programme running during Cannes from May 12 to 23.

Spain’s Xavi Font produced Oliver Laxe’s Oscar-nominated Sirât via their Films Da Ermida, while Austrian Lixi Frank of Panama Film is behind Sandra Wollner’s Everytime, screening this year at Un Certain Regard. Italy’s Stefano Centini produced Director’s Fortnight 2026 selection Death Has No Master through Volos Films.

Also in the line-up is Agata Novinski from Slovakia, producer of animated feature Living Large via Novinski Productions, which won Annecy’s Contrechamp jury award, and Estonia’s Alexandra Film producer Marianne Ostrat, whose credits include Sundance 2023 documentary directing award winner Smoke Sauna Sisterhood.

EFP said that this year’s selection is underpinned by a focus on female-driven storytelling and producers’ collaborations with women directors.
