EXCLUSIVE: The UK’s Parkland Pictures has boarded Sophia Guggenheim’s comedy Blueberry Inn for sales ahead of Cannes.
Jack Davenport, Sophia Di Martino and Chloe Lea star in the film about an emotionally stunted butler who is gifted a broken-down inn and must unite with three chaotic employees and a pig to save it.
The Yorkshire-set film is written and directed by Guggenheim, who previously directed The Mad Whale.
The cast also includes Alexander Arnold, Florence Hall, Jonathan Oldfield, Ace Bhatti, and Michael Maloney.
The completed film is produced by the UK’s Hadley Greswold of nascent company Dancing Fox Entertainment in association with US-based Katrina Kudlick of Fever Dream Studios. Tom Tucker co-produces.
Executive producers are Angus Finney, Michael Laundon, Michael Bassick, Mariyah Dosani and John Glencross of Calculus Media.
