Warner Bros’ president of global theatrical distribution Jeff Goldstein will receive the 2026 international distributor of the year award at CineEurope, an annual trade convention for European exhibitors.
LA-based Goldstein oversees all aspects of the company’s distribution activities worldwide, including filmmaker and exhibitor relations, release dates and patterns and the release of subsidiary studios including New Line Cinema and DC Studios.
Warner Bros’ 2025 box office hits included One Battle After Another ($213m), A Minecraft Movie ($960m) and Sinners ($370m), the latter two making Warner Bros the first major studio since 2009 to have two films gross over $40m on the same weekend.
Last week, Warner Bros Discovery’s shareholders voted “overwhelmingly” in favour of Paramount Skydance’s $110bn takeover deal.
CineEurope runs in Barcelona, Spain, from June 22-25, where Multiplex Ukraine will receive the 2026 international exhibitor award.
CEO of the association behind the convention, the International Union of Cinemas (UNIC), Laura Houlgatte said: “His work has consistently helped bring a diverse range of films to European audiences, reinforcing the cultural and economic importance of cinema across our region. Jeff’s ability to align global distribution with local audience engagement continues to strengthen the vitality of the big screen experience.”
