Nigel Clark hasbeen promoted to senior executive vice president of international marketing atColumbia TriStar Film Distributors International (CTFDI), continuing a careerat Sony Pictures Entertainment that has lasted 11 years. Clark, who is thesenior executive in the international division, reports to Jeff Blake,president of worldwide marketing and distribution at the studio.
"Nigel understands therole of strategic marketing in the global arena and each of our internationalcampaigns reflect his talent, creativity and expertise," said Blake in astatement. "He has been an instrumental asset to the company and to oursuccess in the worldwide marketplace and I am thrilled to recognize and rewardhis contributions with this richly deserved promotion."
Clark first joined thestudio in London as European marketing supervisor and was promoted in 1994 tovice president of marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In 1996, hewas namd senior vice president, international marketing, and relocated to LosAngeles to oversee marketing for all territories outside North America. Afterdomestic chief Blake was promoted to oversee the international division as wellin 2000 and CTFDI president Duncan Clark left the company, Clark was promotedto executive vice president.
