Pathe Productions and Vertigo Films are planning a May 12start date for Nick Love's Outlaw.

Sean Bean, Danny Dyer,Rupert Friend, Lennie James, Sean Harris and BobHoskins star in five interwoven stories about victims of crime taking law intotheir own hands.

The feature will shoot inthe Southwest of England and London.

Vertigo's Allan Niblo and James Richardson are producing. Pathe and Vertigo are also collaborating on another projectshooting this month, thriller WAZ.

"Outlaw is a contemporary morality tale and with a line up ofdistinguished cast and a very powerful script by writer-director Nick Love, wehope to encapsulate in Outlaw Love'svision of an anarchic Britain," Niblo says. "We are veryexcited to be making our second feature film with PatheProductions, in what has been a great working relationship. Outlaw will be ourthird feature film to go into production in 2006 from a very busy slate."

Love previously directed The Football Factory and The Business for Vertigo.

Pathe Distribution will distribute Outlaw in the UK and Pathe PicturesInternational will handle worldwide sales.

The film already madeheadlines when the producers turned to the Internet to raise part of theproduction financing directly from Love's fans. Vertigo said the film's website has now received more than 1 million hits and has raised "a six figure sum."
