Pathe has restructured its UK and French divisions so that its arms of Pathe Renn Production, Pathe Distribution and Pathe's UK units will be led by a management team comprised of Francois Ivernel and Marc Lacan.

Pathe's production and distribution operations will be jointly managed by Ivernel, who will head films, and Lacan, who will oversee general management. Both will serve as executive vice presidents of Pathe, reporting directly to chairman Jerome Seydoux.

Ivernel, who had served as MD of Pathe UK since 2000, will now split his time between Pathe's London and Paris offices.

As a result, Cameron McCracken is being promoted to managing director of Pathe UK, reporting to Ivernel and Lacan. He had served as Deputy MD since 2000.

'The creation of a common management team between London and Paris is a great opportunity for Pathe to take advantage of its unique market presence in both countries,' Ivernel said. 'We at Pathe UK have had a tremendous past few years, and I look forward to building on this in continued collaboration with Cameron. I'm equally enthusiastic about a stronger guiding role with regard to the company's production and distribution activities in France.'

Lacan became VP of development for Pathe and was made executive VP in January 2006, while also serving as MD of Pathe Distribution since September 2006.
