Peace Arch plans a spring 2008 theatrical run in the US and Canada on 250 screens. Genius will handle the DVD release.
In a separate deal, Genius has also licensed US DVD rights to Peace Arch's Chapter 27 starring Jared Leto and Lindsay Lohan, Delirious starring Steve Buscemi and Michael Pitt, and Watching The Detectives starring Cillian Murphy and Lucy Liu. Peace Arch will handle the theatrical releases for the three.
Goal II, the middle film of the football trilogy, stars Kuno Becker, Alessandro Nivola and Anna Friel alongside footballers including David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane. Jaume Collet-Serra directs.
Earlier in the AFM, Peace Arch announced that it was handling sales for Goal 3, now in production.
