Paul Pflug has been promoted to executive vice president, national publicity and corporate communications, for Artisan Entertainment.

He will continue to oversee the national publicity campaigns for Artisan's theatrical releases as well as the company's external and internal corporate communications activities.

He will also take on an expanded role in Artisan Home Entertainment by overseeing publicity initiatives for key properties in the company's 6,700-title library.

For the past two years, Pflug has been senior vice president, national publicity and corporate communications, based in Artisan's New York office.

He will now relocate to Artisan's Santa Monica headquarters reporting to CEO Amir Malin on the corporate communications and home entertainment side and to head of theatrical worldwide marketing Amorette Jones for all theatrical publicity initiatives.
