Philippe Cardon, Warner Home Video executive vice president and general manager forEurope Middle East and Africa, has been promoted to Warner Home Video president, international.

Cardon, in the newly created post, will have responsibilityfor all Warner Home Video titles outside the US, except Canada. The heads of the regional offices for EMEA, AsiaPacific and Latin America and the heads of the international marketing andsales, supply chain management and finance departments, will report to Cardon.

"Philippe has over 20 yearsof industry experience and has played a central role in the growth of WHV,"said Ron Sanders, Warner Home Video president and CEO. "Aligning Internationalunder one person will improve consistency, coordination and best practicesacross all of the countries. This is particularly important with our maturing DVD business, and in the context of the launch of new technologies likeHigh Definition and Electronic Delivery."

Prior to joining Warner HomeVideo in 1986, Cardon worked for Ernst & Young.
