UK-basedPinball Films has wrapped principal photography on KAZ, which marks director Ashley Horner's feature debut.

Theproject shot for six weeks in Newcastle upon Tyne and Berlin.

KAZ stars Nora Von Waldstatten as a German music journalist who discoversshe's inherited a blood disorder from a rock musician father she never knew. Thecast also features Michael Hodgson. Peter Dillon wrote the scrip.

Thebudget was less than $1.3m (Euros 1m), with backing from Northern Film andMedia, VMI Ltd and private equity.

Thefilm is now in post-production with a goal of premiering at the 2007 EuropeanFilm Market in Berlin. No sales agent is attached yet.
