Producer Mark Burton(pictured), whose credits include Santosh Sivan's The Terrorist, Finn Taylor's Cherish, Richard Jobson's 16 Years Of Alcohol and Deepa Mehta's Water, is joining Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe as a partnerin their production company accomplice films.

The company, which plans tomake film and TV programming, recently struck a first-look deal with WarnerBros. All three partners will develop and produce accomplice projects, Burtonbased in LA, Swank and Lowe in New York.

Meanwhile William Hurt hasjoined the cast of Lowe's directorial debut Beautiful Ohio, the first film to be produced under the new bannerwhich will begin shooting in New York this October.

Scripted by novelist EthanCanin from his short story "Batorsag & Szerelem", the drama follows afamily grappling with each other amid the chaotic social changes of America in1973.

Basketball star ReggieMiller's brand new production outfit Boom Baby Productions will executiveproduce the film.

Burton produced more than 25theatre productions in Los Angeles, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok andIndia, and has produced several Indian films including The Terrorist and executive produced Sivan's second feature Asoka.

"The strength of ourpartnership with Mark lies in our collective belief that well-made films comefrom both thoughtfully developed stories and from compelling, dynamiccharacters; the type of stories writers love to create, directors long torealize, and actors seek out to play. Our aim is to be accomplices to talent,"gushed Lowe and Swank in a statement.

Swank, whorecently wrapped Brian De Palma's The Black Dahlia, is currently shooting The Reaping, a horror movie for Joel Silver andRobert Zemeckis' Dark Castle Entertainment and Warner Bros. She will startshooting Freedom Writers for writer/director Richard LaGravanese and Paramount Pictureslater this year.

Lowe is an actorwho has recently turned his hand to directing with short films The Audition and The Space Between and episodes of Law & Order SVU and Hack.
