The actress has been confirmed to star alongside Nick Nolte in Maria De Kannon Cle’s debut feature.

Melanie Griffith has joined the cast of Maria De Kannon Cle’s $3m (€2.5m) debut feature At 2:15.

The film revolves around the real and hypothetical lives of a group of people whose paths cross in the cultural sites of the city of Madrid. Griffith will play the multimillionaire heiress and wife to Nick Nolte’s character.

Shooting will take place in the Spanish capital with the support of the Madrid Film Commission. Other confirmed cast members include Angela Molina (The Way, Broken Embraces) and Fernando Guillen Cuervo (Quantum Of Solace).

De Kannon Cle also serves as festival director of the Filma Madrid event, which takes place in March and April and promotes small art-house films.

Griffith has also lent her voice to Ben Stassen’s animation film Sammy’s Adventures: The Secret Passage and Manuel Sicilia’s animation Goleor: The Scales And The Sword, both in production.
