The cast includes jazz musician Michał Urbaniak alongside Polish actors Artur Żmijewski, Witold Dębicki and Anna Nehrebecka.

Polish director Piotr Trzaskalski is gearing up to shoot his third feature, My Father’s Bike (working title) starting Aug 16.

Trzaskalski has co-written the script for the film, about three generations of men in a family, with Wojciech Lepianka .

The cast includes Polish actors Artur Żmijewski, Witold Dębicki, Anna Nehrebecka. Jazz musician Michał Urbaniak will also make his feature debut.

Filming is due to wrap Sept 20 on the Polish-language film which is being produced by siblings Marta Plucińska and Paweł Pluciński for their production company Federico Film with backing from the Polish Film Institute.  

Credits for the company to date include Marek Stacharski’s Facing Up and Gerwazy Regula’s Earthly Paradise.

Trzaskalski’s first feature was the award winning Edi in 2002 which picked up a FIPRESCI prize at the Berlin Film Festival. His second feature, Master won a FIPRESCI Prize at the Miami Film Festival in 2006.
