East-West co-production market Connecting Cottbus gets underway on Nov 3.

Thirteen projects from 11 countries will be presented to potential European co-producers in the 13th annual Connecting Cottbus (Nov 3 - 4) pitching event in Germany.

The line up includes new works from Petr Zelenka, Vinko Bresan and Dalibor Matanic. The films were selected from 113 entries from 30 countries, the forum’s highest number of submissions to date.

Founded in 1999, the forum will coincide with the 21. FilmFestival Cottbus, the showcase of films from Eastern Europe.

Pitching will begin with the two-time Connecting Cottbus Special Pitch Award winner Oleg Novković, who won last year for his feature White, White World.
