Robert Saitzyk will direct the film, loosely based on the final days of Jim Morrison.
LA-based production company American Asylum in collaboration with Argentina’s Buenos Aires Sound Studio (BASS)aim to transform Buenos Aires into Paris circa 1971 when production is set to begin at the end of the year.
“We are excited about this new relationship and to be filming in Buenos Aires, a city with an artistic pulse and culture rich in film and music,” American Asylum producer Matthew Miller said.
The film stars Shawn Andrews, Cameron Richardson, Seymour Cassel, Kevin Corrigan with pop icon Cyndi Lauper in a supporting role.
