The LevelK/Synchronicity Films joint venture continues apace with the arrival of the US star on Justin Molotnikov’s upcoming feature.

Lewis will star alongside story co-developer and BAFTA nominee Stephen McCole as well as Greta Scacchi, Kate Dickie and Gary Lewis.

Production on the contemporary noir is scheduled to being in Scotland in early spring 2012. Molotnikov and his Synchronicity Films co-founder Claire Mundell are producing. Glendale Films will co-produce and LevelK is handling international sales.

“I am excited by Justin Molotnikov’s unconventional, completely organic approach to storytelling and film making. He creates one of a kind, totally engrossing stories with characters that jump off the screen,” Lewis said.

Molotnikov’s debut feature Crying With Laughter won BAFTA Scotland Best Feature Film in 2009.

Development for the project is supported by The National Lottery through Creative Scotland by the MEDIA Programme and also by EM Media.
