Literary thriller stars Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons and Dennis Quaid.

Zoe Saldana [pictured], Olivia Wilde, Ben Barnes, John Hannah, J K Simmons and Nora Arnezeder have been added to the cast of The Words.

They join Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons and Dennis Quaid in the dramatic thriller about a writer who at the peak of his literary success discovers the price he must pay for stealing another man’s work.

The Words is the directorial debut of Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, who also wrote the script – which went through the Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab and appeared on the Black List – and previously wrote Tron Legacy. The film starts shooting this month in Montreal.

Michael Benaroya of Benaroya Pictures is producing along with Animus Films’ Jim Young and Serena Films’ Tatiana Kelly. Untitled Entertainment’s Laura Rister is executive producing with Cassian Elwes under their joint venture Waterfall Media.

Parlay Films is handling international sales and US rights are being represented by Waterfall and Untitled.
