€30m TV and film project being sold by TrustNordisk in Toronto

Principal photography is underway on Swedish production outfit Tre Vanner’s anticipated TV and film adaptations of Camilla Lackburg’s best-selling crime series, The Fjallbacka Murders.

Marcus Olsson is directing the project which consists of ten 90 minute episodes and two 110 minute theatrical films. Trust Nordisk is shopping the project in Toronto.

The anticipated film and TV series has already been picked up by Lumiere in Benelux and Rialto in Australia.

Helen Ahlsson and Caisa Westling at Tre Vänner (responsible for the original Walander series) are producing with Michael Hjorth serving as executive producer. Co-producers are SVT, Nordisk Film and Film i Väst.
