Rai Trade has closed several deals on Pupi Avati's Il Papa di Giovanna, which won the Venice best actor prize for Silvio Orlando.
Sales have been done with France (Paradis), Belgium and The Netherlands (ABC Films), Australia (Palace Pictures), and Switzerland (MFD).
Orlando stars as a father who tries to help his daughter (Alba Rohrwacher) after she omits murder.
The film is out in Italy next week on 250 prints.
RAi Trade has also taken on world sales for Venice documentary Vicino al Colosseo c'e Monti. Mario Monicelli directs and producers are Gianvito and Alessandro Casadonte of Inspire Production.
