India's UTV has sold twotitles - Rang De Basanti and Don - to Germany's Rapid Eye Movies.

Rang De Basanti, starring Indian superstar Aamir Khan, will have afull theatrical release in Germany on June 16. The film has broken new groundin India by becoming a massive hit despite its political theme, which fallsoutside the usual boy-meets-girl formula.

Released in January, RangDe Basanti is the highest-grossingfilm of the year in India and has also been a big hit in overseas territories.The soundtrack is by world-renowned composer A. R. Rahman.

Rapid Eye is planning aday-and-date release for Don,starring the world's biggest Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, which is scheduledto open across Bollywood territories in October this year.
