Reid Sullivan - who for the last five years was responsible for all strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting at Columbia TriStar Film Distributors International (CTFDI) - has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer at LA-based Village Roadshow Pictures.
He will be responsible for all the classic accounting and financial functions, as well as working closely with chairman and CEO Bruce Berman and COO Steve Krone on strategic issues as well as the day-to-day running of the business. Key issues he will oversee include overview of the international distribution of VRP films by studio partner Warner Bros and planning for the production slate.
Prior to CTFDI, Sullivan worked at Columbia Pictures in financial operations. He started his career in 1985 at Arthur Andersen & Co.
VRP has co-financed a large slate of pictures at Warner to date including The Matrix, Analyze This!, Deep Blue Sea, Three To Tango and Practical Magic.
