My god. No wonder people think that filmmakers in this country exist in their own bubble of self importance. We're talking about the departure of a minor executive in a small organisation which made tiny investments, most of which were of the "me too please" variety ... witness '45 years' or into useless films such as 'Spooks' - the "long awaited" feature to a series that ran out of puff 5 years ago!

Using words like "terrible" and "disaster" in this context is sheer bathos considering what's happening out there in the real world.

Get a grip people !
