Some exhibitors, such as Cinema City in Norwich (a Picturehouse cinema), have introduced 'Popcorn Free' screenings in order to cater for purists of the cinema experience. However, these have proved less than popular. It's not as if we haven't tried.
An amusing aside; some customers have actually showed up for these popcorn free screenings expecting free popcorn!
