We need more opportunity to be a viable co-production partner, this would source inward investment, develop partnerships, help nurture talent and foster a cinematic culture (as there would be more british films). Re-entering Eurimage would be a help.
However if you really want to create a sustainable industry in the UK put a quota and a levy on the box office. at least 10% of all films screened should be British and if you put 14p on each cinema ticket sold about £30m would be generated...
