UK distributor Revolver Entertainmenthas acquired two films for release in early 2006: Werner Herzog's documentary Grizzly Man and MenhajHuda's adolescent story Kidulthood.
Grizzly Man, set for a February 4 release, isabout the life and death of Timothy Treadwell, a follower of grizzly bears. Thefilm won the Alfred P. Sloan award at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival and is abest documentary nominee at the IFP GothamAwards. Grizzly Man is a Lions Gate and Discovery Docs production.
Kidulthood follows 24 hours in the life of inner-city teenagers in West London. The cast features Noel Clarke, Aml Ameen, Red Madrell, and Jamie Winstone, Ray Winstone's daughter. Hudaproduced with George Isaac and Damian Jones, and HanWaysold the film. Kidulthood'ssoundtrack includes tracks from The Streets, DizzeeRascal and Audio Bullys.
