UK production company Rotunda Films will start shooting this weekfor Lycanthropy, a feature film set in Birmingham.

Kevin McDonagh (Open Window, Idol of Evil) iswriting, directing, and producing, with David Beaumont executive producing andserving as cinematographer. ITN Distribution are handling pre-sales and arelaunching the project during this week's AFM.

The producers announced several additions to the cast. JasonFlemyng (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Adam Rickitt (CoronationStreet), Suzanne Collins (Brookside), Freya Archard (Baywatch), SimonaBrhlikova (Bad Girls), Riana Husselmann (You're Fired) and StatenEliot (Flip a Coin) join previously announced actors GeorgeCalil, Al Convy and Emily Chugg.

The psychological thriller is set among the club and drug cultureof Birmingham, where a detective (Calil) is investigating a gruesome murder.

Rotunda is partially funding the low-budgetfilm by auctioning minor roles and profit sharing on eBay.
