Ryan Phillippe has signed to star in MDP Worldwide's thriller The I Inside to be directed by Germany's Roland Suso Richter (The Tunnel) and set to start shooting in the UK on June 10.

The film marks a return to the UK for Phillippe who appeared in Robert Altman's Gosford Park. The film, written by Michael Cooney, is based on the life of a man with amnesia who discovers that he has the power to travel back in time. The film is produced by MDP's Mark Damon and Rudy Cohen and executive produced by Andreas Schmid and Andreas Grosch and co-produced by VIP Medenfonds and MDP Filmproduktion Gmbh in association with RCD and April Productions.
