The San Sebastian International Film Festival (Sept 21-30) has announced the titles to be included in its Made In Spanish section, a popular sidebar dedicated to presenting the year's best Spanish and Latin American features and short films.

Among the 37 feature films included are:

  • Miguel Albaladejo's Verbal Attack (Ataque Verbal)
  • I Will Survive (Sobrevivire), from Alfonso Albacete and David Menkes
  • Jaume Balaguero's The Nameless (Los Sin Nombre)
  • Daniel Calparsoro's Asphalt (Asfalto)
  • Cesc Gay's Krampack
  • Mateo Gil's Nobody Knows Anybody (Nadie Conoce A Nadie)
  • Saura Medrano's Just Run! (Y Tu Que Harias Por Amor)
  • Carlos Saura's Goya In Bordeaux (Goya En Burdeos)
  • Gerardo Chijona's A Paradise Under The Stars (Un Paraiso Bajo Las Estrellas)
  • Jose Glusman's 100 Years Of Pardon (Cien Anos De Perdon)
  • Juan Carlos Tabio's Waiting List (Lista De Espera)
  • The festival has also announced the inclusion of a musical concert and sidebar of films directed by musicians.

    The films in the new Music In Action sidebar include Bob Dylan's Renaldo And Clara (1978), Neil Young's Human Highway (1982), David Byrne's True Stories (1986) and Caetano Veloso's O Cinema Falado (1986).

    The concert, featuring Brazilian artist Caetano Veloso and former Talking Heads leader David Byrne, will be held September 24 in the San Sebastian Velodrome. Profits will go to the Brazilian children's charity organization Projecto AXE.
