Miramax's The Station Agent and Warner Bros' Mystic River have earned three nominations each for the upcoming 10th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards, taking pride of place in a list that is noticeably light on big studio titles.
Peter Dinklage is the surprise inclusion in the best actors category for his eponymous role in The Station Agent, while Patricia Clarkson earns three nods - for lead actress in The Station Agent, supporting actress in UA's Pieces Of April and ensemble cast for The Station Agent.
Alec Baldwin and Mario Bello each earn a supporting acting nomination for their roles in Lions Gate's The Cooler. New Line's The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King has only one nomination in the best ensemble category.
The 10th annual Screen Actors Guild awards ceremony takes place in Los Angeles on Feb 22.
