Slamdance Entertainment has unveiled its lineup of two German features and ten shorts for its first ever Cologne Showcase to take place on Aug 18 during music industry trade show Popkomm (Aug 16-18).

The feature films are:

Taking place at the Cinenova in Cologne, the film programmes will begin at 7pm; a filmmaker party will follow the film programmes at 9.30 accompanied by an outdoor screening of Daniel Harris' The Bible And Gun Club which screened at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City in 1998.

Slamdance Entertainment is a joint venture between Marco Weber's Atlantic Streamline and the Slamdance Film Festival, an eight year-old festival dedicated to first films which runs concurrent with the Sundance Film Festival every January in Park City, Utah. Slamdance's Peter Baxter, who runs Slamdance Entertainment with Weber, is event director of the Cologne Showcase.
