Spanish rights house Sogepaq has added two films to its Cannes sales slate: Julio Medem's Lucia And Sex (Lucia Y El Sexo) and Antonio Hernandez's In The City Without Limits (En La Ciudad Sin Limites).

Lucia is the much-anticipated new film from cult director Medem (The Lovers Of The Arctic Circle). The film, which stars up-and-coming Spanish actress Paz Vega (Nobody Knows Anybody), is a production of Sogepaq sister company Sogecine.

Limits is a co-production between Zebra Films (Spain), Patagonik Film Group (Argentina), Ackoa (France) and Iconica (Spain). The psychological thriller began shooting on April 25 with actors Geraldine Chaplin, Leonardo Sbaraglia and Fernando Fernan-Gomez.

Sogepaq is also giving English language sci-fi film Stranded, starring Vincent Gallo, Maria de Madeiros and Joaquim de Almeida, its market debut at Cannes. Other titles on the Sogepaq slate include Guillermo del Toro's The Devil's Backbone (El Espinazo Del Diablo); Imanol Uribe thriller Plenilune (Plenilunio); and Jaime Chavarri's Kisses For Everyone (Besos Para Todos).
