Spain's Sogepaq hasannounced the first sales on cult director Alex de la Iglesia's new blackcomedy Ferpect Crime.

The film, which willscreen twice for buyers at this weekC;s American Film Market, has sold broadlyin Europe and Latin America.

Distributors in Europeinclude La Fabrique de Films in France, Eco Filmes in Portugal, Audiovisual inGreece, Noah for Israel, MCF for Serbia and Montenegro, and Blitz for Croatia,Bosnia and Slovenia.

Gussi has rights in Mexico,Alfa Films for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, Cines Unidos in Venezuela,Delta Video for Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador, Cinemac in Columbia and twocompanies - Art Films and California Filmes - co-bought the title for Brazil.First Distributors picked up rights in Hong Kong.

Ferpect Crime is a co-production between Spain's Sogecine andPanico Films, and Italy's Planet Pictures. Nexo will release the film in Italy.It had already grossed just over Euros 2.25m after its second weekend at theSpanish box office, where it holds the number two position on the weekly chart.

Sogepaq is also looking toclose final territories at the AFM on Spain's foreign-language Oscar contender TheSea Inside (Mar Adentro) and is also showing San Sebastian competitors Roma and Hours Of Light (Horas De Luz) as well as teen comedy XXL,premiering in Spain this weekend.
