EXCLUSIVE: Cinecliq’s studio-compliant VOD service in-demand with global distribs.

VOD platform Cinecliq has launched a dedicated, studio-compliant VOD solution for film and TV content, which is proving popular among global film distributors.

New service Cinehost features DRM protection, global geo-blocking, transactional or subscription business models, rentals and electronic sell-through (EST), easy payment systems, transparent real-time reporting, high-end image quality, 24/7 end-user technical support, and retailer interfaces for Macs & PCs, iOS devices, Android tablets and SmartTVs.

The company has recently signed a number of international clients whose VOD services will be powered by Cinehost’s technology, including Malaysian-based KRU Studios, Wide’s Eye On Films label, Russian art-house distributor Cinema Without Frontiers, Hollywood-based House of Films and sales outfit LevelK.

The new company, Cinehost Inc., is led by Yan Vizinberg (CEO and co-founder), Abigail Honor (co-founder), and Douglas Graham (vp of business development).
