Sue Blackmore, formerly executive director of marketing and publicity for Trimark Pictures, has joined Myriad Pictures as vice president, marketing and publicity. She will be responsible for conceiving and implementing marketing and publicity campaigns for Myriad's slate including Chen Kaige's Killing Me Softly which stars Heather Graham and Joseph Fiennes which Myriad is selling internationally on behalf of producers Montecito Production Co.

Blackmore began her career at 20th Century Fox (UK) as press and publicity manager before moving to The Samuel Goldwyn Co as director of international marketing and publicity and then director of publicity on the domestic side.

"She's an important addition to Myriad's senior management team," said Myriad president Kirk D'Amico. "She brings valuable experience to our domestic and international distribution and production operations, and we are looking forward to moving ahead with her to meet our goals."

Myriad sold a controlling interest in the company to Germany's IN-motion AG in July this year.
