Tracy Brimm, who was an agent in the international department at ICM, has joined European broadcaster TF1 as president of co-productions and acquisitions at TF1 USA, a division of TF1 International.

Run by Jean Louis Capra and Didier Sapaut, TF1 International is the foreign sales company of TF1 which has financed such films as James Ivory's The Golden Bowl and Rod Lurie's The Contender, as well as hit European fare like Pauline Et Paulette, Dark Blue World, Ali Zaoua andEight-And-A-Half Women.

She will be responsible for seeking English language projects for the company to acquire and co-produce and expanding links with US-based producers and talent. She will work with departing TF1 USA president Jean-Charles Levy who will return to Paris to expand his functions in TF1 International to cover the financing of European co-productions.

Dorian Issock, recently promoted to head of development in Los Angeles, will work with Brimm in looking for projects for the company.

While at ICM, Brimm worked with international writers and directors including Nigel Cole (Saving Grace), Thomas Vinterberg (The Celebration), Sofia Coppola (The Virgin Suicides) and Alison Maclean (Jesus' Son).

TF1 recently completed production on Tempted by Kiss Or Kill director Bill Bennett starring Saffron Burrows and Burt Reynolds and Scenes Of The Crime directed by Dominique Forma and starring Jeff Bridges. In development is Patrice Chereau's second English language film (formerly known as The Prince Of The Pacific) in which Al Pacino is lined up to play Napoleon.
