Brad Anderson's The Machinist and Rodney Evans' BrotherTo Brother will bookend the 26th annual IFP Market & Conference, whichruns from Sept 19-24 in New York.

The Machinist, which stars Batman-to-beChristian Bale and is set to be released in the US through Paramount Classicson Oct 22, will get the Sept 20 opening night slot at the event, organised byIFP/New York.

Brother To Brother, with rising star Anthony Mackie in thelead and Wolfe Films distributing domestically on Oct 29, will close the eventon Sept 23.

Brother To Brother received IFP/New York's Gordon ParksAward for emerging African-American filmmakers.

Market organisers also announced a special New York premierescreening of Canadian feature Falling Angels on Sept 22.

Directed by Scott Smith and starring Miranda Richardson and CallumKeith Rennie, the film will be released in the US by Film Movement on Nov 12.
